SV Wietmarschen’s First Women’s Volleyball Team Equipped with New Sports Bags
A wonderful example of lived commitment is the initiative of a colleague who advocated for the first women’s volleyball team of SV Wietmarschen. The team, in which our colleague actively plays, secured promotion back to the Northwest Regional League as runners-up last season. They now compete against teams from Lohne, Hanover, Göttingen, and Oldenburg — a sporting achievement that makes not only the club but also our team proud. To help them prepare optimally for the new season, we provided them with new sports bags just in time for the season start in October.
We are delighted to support this initiative and wish our colleague and the entire SV Wietmarschen team a successful season. Suggestions like this show how deeply our employees’ commitment is rooted in the region — and how we can make a difference together.
Team-Driven Commitment: Employee Suggestions as Drivers of Regional Support
For us, commitment is not just part of everyday work — we embrace the idea of actively involving our employees and supporting their ideas. Because those who stand up for their region also carry forward our company’s claim: Protect People and Planet. That’s why we regularly support charitable activities with a local connection that arise directly from our employees’ initiatives. Whether in sports, culture, or social projects — we believe that sustainable engagement grows where employees contribute their ideas and actively support charitable causes in their communities.
